Through the generosity of our corporate partner, BlackRock, SolarBuddy managed to distribute over 900 lights to the community in Chatsworth.

Our corporate partner, BlackRock assembled over 900 lights in an event in New York which was organised by Cievents.

Only 40 percent of the population in Zimbabwe has access to electricity. Some community members have access to electricity, but access is highly erratic. Moreover, access is vastly affected by socio-economic and political factors.

This limits the ability of students to study after dusk, vastly affecting educational opportunities.

With the help of the community members in Chatsworth, we distributed over 900 lights to three schools in Zimbabwe.

900 lights were well-received with heart-warming smiles, illuminating futures of over 4,000 lives.
