These Terms and Conditions include our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Websites in any way, including the placement of an order indicates your agreement to these terms. Terms and conditions shall supersede any subsequent terms or conditions included with any purchase order. SolarBuddy reserves the right to make changes to the Websites and these terms and conditions at any time. All SolarBuddy solar lights must be used within 3 months from the date of final/complete assembly – failure to do so will reduce the performance of the light – SolarBuddy does not take responsibility for independent deliveries and subsequent potential light failures. Acceptance of Orders

By placing an order with SolarBuddy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions relating to the acceptance of orders.

1. Order Placement: Orders placed through our website, associated websites or other designated channels are subject to acceptance by SolarBuddy.
2. Your details: It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact and delivery information provided with your order is accurate and up to date.
3. Order Confirmation: Upon receipt of your order, SolarBuddy will send you an order confirmation via email or other communication channels. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order, but rather serves as acknowledgment that we have received it.
4. Acceptance of Orders: SolarBuddy reserves the right to accept or decline any order in our sole discretion. Acceptance of your order occurs when we dispatch, physically or online, the products to you.
5. Limitations on Acceptance: SolarBuddy may refuse to accept orders for various reasons, including but not limited to:
   • Insufficient stock availabilit
   • Inaccuracies or errors in product descriptions or pricing
   • Payment authorisation issues
   • Suspected fraudulent activity.
6. Order Cancellation: SolarBuddy reserves the right to cancel any accepted order for any reason. In such cases, you will be promptly refunded any payments made for the cancelled order.
7. Modification or Refusal of Orders: SolarBuddy may modify or refuse to accept any order, or part of an order, even after acceptance, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or if it is determined that the order violates our terms and conditions or applicable laws.
8. Cancellation and Deactivation of SolarBuddy Virtual Activity Codes: 
   • SolarBuddy reserves the right to request payment for any number of Activity Codes that have been issued in error. In the event of such an error, SolarBuddy may deactivate the affected Activity codes until payment is received or any other resolution is agreed upon between SolarBuddy and you. SolarBuddy will make reasonable efforts to communicate with you regarding any such errors and the necessary steps to resolve them.

Intellectual Property

All content included or made available through any SolarBuddy programs, such as text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, audio clips and digital downloads is the property of SolarBuddy and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content included in or created through any SolarBuddy programs is the exclusive property of SolarBuddy and protected by international copyright laws.

Copy Errors

SolarBuddy reserves the right to cancel any orders placed on products that have been incorrectly listed, whether it be with an incorrect price or with incorrect details. SolarBuddy reserves this right regardless of whether your order has been confirmed and paid for. If this does occur a SolarBuddy representative will contact you as soon as possible and the amount charged will be refunded.

Warranties

SolarBuddy warrants that for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. SolarBuddy, in its opinion, will repair or replace this product, or any component found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be with a similar product of equal or greater value. This warranty is in addition to any statutory warranty or guarantee rights that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please note that the pages on the Website may contain other proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed.

Privacy

During the event (including any online event) or conference, photos and camera footage may be taken. Unless you advise us otherwise, your participation in the event implies permission for us to use photos and video for publicity, promotional or instructional purposes, including uploading to the internet. SolarBuddy will also be engaging with participants before, during and post-event. If you do not wish to be included in photographs and videos at the event or conference, it is your responsibility to inform a SolarBuddy representative at the time. Return of Assembled Solar Lights

All assembled solar devices must be returned to SolarBuddy within 60 calendar days post event unless notified prior. Failure to do so may reduce the performance of the device.

SolarBuddy does not take responsibility for independent deliveries and subsequent potential device failures.

100% of solar devices ordered must be returned to SolarBuddy for quality control and distribution to the children and communities we serve. If you do not return the solar devices we have shipped to you, SolarBuddy reserves the right to charge a replacement fee.

Late payment fees

All products and services provided are subject to the payment terms on the invoice. If payment is not received any overdue and unpaid balances may be subject to a late fee and interest fee per month, charged daily until the balance is fully paid, subject to relevant legislation, and where relevant, the terms in your contract.
